The TVET Drone Technology Program at Hee Tech Academy is a full-time, 12-month certification program designed to train students to become skilled and industry-ready drone operators. This program leads to the SKM Level 2 (Pengendalian Dron) certification, officially recognised by the Department of Skills Development (JPK).
With a strong focus on hands-on training, students will learn real drone operations, basic maintenance, and industry-relevant applications under the guidance of experienced trainers.
This program follows a 70% practical and 30% theory learning approach to ensure students gain real-world skills.

This program is open to eligible candidates who meet the following criteria:
Malaysian citizen
Aged 16 years and above
Physically fit and in good health
Not colour blind
No outstanding government education loan
Interested in pursuing a technical career through the TVET pathway
Backed by 40+ years of aviation industry experience
Fully approved and accredited by JPK
Emphasis on real drone flying and maintenance, not simulations only
