HEE Tech Academy (HTA) was founded by the HEE Group of Companies, an organization with more than 40 years of active involvement in the aviation industry. Backed by decades of experience, industry knowledge, and a strong commitment to technical excellence, the group brings established aviation standards and best practices into the fast-growing field of drone technology education.
Established on 1 October 2022, HEE Tech Academy was created with a clear purpose — to provide practical, hands-on teaching and training for the development of competent and responsible drone operators. Our programs focus not only on theory, but also on real-world application, ensuring students gain the skills needed to operate and maintain drones safely and effectively. HTA has been fully inspected, approved, and accredited by the Department of Skills Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, JPK), reflecting our commitment to quality training and national standards.
In recent years, the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) industry has experienced rapid growth and tremendous potential across Malaysia and globally. As drone usage expands, the demand for properly trained, skilled, and certified operators has become increasingly important. Safety, technical knowledge, and operational competency are now essential requirements in an industry that continues to evolve at a fast pace.
Today, drones are widely used across multiple sectors, including logistics, videography, construction, oil and gas, surveying, agriculture, and many other industrial applications. As the Centre Manager (Pengurus Pusat Bertauliah) of Hee Tech Academy, I am committed to leading with professionalism, responsibility, and a strong focus on student success. I believe true leadership is about teamwork, continuous learning, and creating opportunities for others to grow.
With experience in drone operations and services, drone training, TVET learning and education, as well as the aviation industry, I bring practical knowledge and industry insight into every training program. I am proud to have guided and trained more than 300 individuals in drone piloting, helping them build confidence, skills, and career opportunities.
